Thank you for visiting my personal Blog. I have been making cards and other forms of art work for about 8 years. My creative side only showed itself in my late 30's. I have a passion for anything to do with card making and paper. I enter my own world and never like to follow the rules. I will try anything and everything on my creations, I am crazy about flowers. They hold an innocence which can never be bought. Other interests include....... Parchment, Decoupage, Paint-crackling, Crochet and Knitting. I am a married to a wonderful man who supports me all the way and encourages me in what I love to do. We have been married for 19 years and we have one daughter. She is my world. (A true blessing from God)

Hi there,
I found the most AMAZING blog with an amazing template of a old fashioned shoe. I gave it a try and this is what I came up with. I downloaded the template,  I did not change anything on the template but I did print two on a A4 page which made the shoe size smaller. I can now also use this on a card which I am going to be trying over the weekend. The template can be found here http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com
Terri also has amazing tea cups to show you. Do hop over to her blog you wont be sorry. I have made the roses using a five leave punch and a heat gun. Have a great weekend. See you soon.

My submission for the color challenge Close -
http://cr84fncolorchallenge.blogspot.com

I used the butterfly from SCAL  "In the garden scal2"  from The Scrapping Table. The link is on the side bar. I enlarged and cut it out twice. I then made the roses, cut the leaves. I punched the dragonfly  from a small punch. The heart is cut from board. I edge the card with brown chalk. Hope you like it. This was great fun.
Hi there,

First of all I would like to thank all the ladies who have commented on my blog it is greatly appreciated.

I was asked to make this easel card for a clients "daughter and son in laws wedding Anniversary."

All the flowers are hand made, cut out  patterns can be found in  http://pennyduncancreations.blogspot.com the leaves where cut using a the font IPleaves it is a great font to have with many leave designs and it is free on the Internet, I emboss the shaplies & butterfly which can also be found at Penny Duncan's creations Blog, I used iridescent glitter to highlight the edges of the card.  The white flower was made using a five petal punch, cut off two petals at the bottom and the reaming three fold and squeeze together to form the shape and glue the center bit.I hope you like this card and maybe you will give it a try. I would love to see your cards. Thank you for stopping in and have a great day.
