Thank you for visiting my personal Blog. I have been making cards and other forms of art work for about 8 years. My creative side only showed itself in my late 30's. I have a passion for anything to do with card making and paper. I enter my own world and never like to follow the rules. I will try anything and everything on my creations, I am crazy about flowers. They hold an innocence which can never be bought. Other interests include....... Parchment, Decoupage, Paint-crackling, Crochet and Knitting. I am a married to a wonderful man who supports me all the way and encourages me in what I love to do. We have been married for 19 years and we have one daughter. She is my world. Hi there everyone
Its been a while since I have worked on my blog. I have been very busy with my home and family and of course crafting.  I am very privileged to have a great husband who bought the the new BLACK CAT CUTTING MACHINE she is stunning. I have been cutting like mad.  I am always looking for ways to save money and I came across a video on you tube. The suggestion was to use the flexable cutting board as a replacement for the cutting mat. "doller store" where would I find this item in South Africa. Well I did, I found them in China Town.  They are priced at R10.00 for two and they work great as a cheap vision for the circut and black cat cutting mat. When they are grubby I will just pop them in the bin and replace them.  I used the Dale repositioning glue 1 part glue and two parts water and it works great.  I also tryed the quilting plastic and that two works great the cost for a sheet is R35.00. So those ladies out there looking for ways to save try these two replacement mats you wont be sorry. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Thank you to all the people that have been viewing my blog while I have been away. Life has just been so busy and I have had family matters that I have had to deal with. I will hopefully back in full swing in the next few days. I have really missed my crafts.  I have been keeping up with the blogs that I follow on my blackberry but its not the same as at my desk. As always the work is outstanding.  Ladies keep up the good work  The weather in Cape Town is beautiful and hot.  Our summer is just about here cant wait.

My submission to the following

http://stampinsanity.com/

This is a project that I did for a 21st Bithday.

I used a empty Johnny walker bottle covered it with lace and then made all the flower and leaves. Using a strong glue I attached them all to the glass. Use a good glass cleaner like meths to clean the outside of the bottle before you begin.  I took an old key sprayed it silver and attached it. Once my product was complete I used a lacquer spray "gloss" to finish it off. The inside message I used two long sticks and made it into a scroll with a message from the mother I made sure they were long enough so that the message could be taken out of the bottle neck easily.
